Mahjong for Beginners - Public Series

  • Keep Mahjing On is proud to partner with Manalapan Parks & Recreation to offer accessible, community-based Mahjong programming for players of all levels offering both Mahjong for Beginners and a Mahjong Refresher class!

    Includes:

    • 3 lessons (2.5 hours each)

    • Structured, step-by-step instruction

    • Hands-on gameplay and guided learning

    • All materials provided for use during class

    Pricing:

    • $185 per person

    Mahjong Refresher Class

    A perfect tune-up for players who already know the basics and want to build confidence, improve flow, and get back into the game.

    Includes:

    • 2-hour session

    • Gameplay review and rule reinforcement

    • Instructor guidance throughout play

    Group Size:

    • Minimum: 4 players

    • Maximum: 8 players

    Pricing:

    • $65 per person

  • Due to space restraints at the Manalapan Rec this summer, our Mahjong for Beginners DAYTIME series will be held at a private residence in Manalapan.

  • Workout with Laura Fischer Fitness from 10 - 10:45am, then enjoy Guided Open Play in/by the pool from 11am - 2pm.

    Details:

    • All mahjong setups are provided

    • Bring your own yoga mat and light weights (optional)

    • Brunch bites and refreshments will be served

    • Hosted at a private residence in Manalapan

    $45 per person / per session

    Join Keep Mahjing On at Java Love on Bellevue for an evening of American Mahjong, coffee, and community! Guided Open Play is perfect for players who already know the basics and want to practice, build confidence, and enjoy a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Come with friends or register solo—we'll make sure everyone has a seat at the table. Full Mahjong set-ups are included, and guidance is available throughout the evening. Coffee and pastries will be available for purchase from Java Love. 🀄☕
