In this fun, welcoming 2.5-hour workshop led by Keep Mahjing On, you'll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong from the ground up—no experience required. We'll cover everything from tile recognition and reading the NMJL card to the Charleston, game flow, basic strategy, and table etiquette, all in a relaxed, supportive environment designed for true beginners.
All Mahjong materials are provided, so just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. Whether you're hoping to join friends at the table, start a new hobby, or discover what all the excitement is about, you'll leave with the confidence to continue your Mahjong journey.
Your ticket includes 2.5 hours of Mahjong instruction + 2 hours of Guided Open Play. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Rising Stars School of Dance and Performing Arts Competition Dancers.
